The Alpha lives for the hunt…
Driven by instinct, an Alpha shifter recognizes his fated mate from one scent, one touch. He’ll pursue his mate, regardless of the cost, and anyone else would be smart to get out of his way. He won’t stop until he takes possession of his prize.
Although the hunter doesn’t need convincing, his mate certainly does. The Alpha will have to prove himself as a lover and convince his woman that he plays for keeps.

SQUEE! I’m so happy to reveal to everyone my awesome cover for my November 22nd release! I’m honored and excited to be writing a novella for Susan Stoker’s Special Forces Operation Alpha Kindle World.
If you are unfamiliar with her Kindle World, check it out here! She has two fantastic series, one with Delta Force Heroes and the other with Navy SEALs. My story takes place in her Navy SEAL world, utilizing some of her characters from her book, PROTECTING CAROLINE.
Jayla “Fox” McFadden ‘MacGyvered‘ her way through college and right onto the radar of the CIA. Instead of getting busted, she got offered a job. She’s a chemist by day, but moonlights on special missions utilizing her unique talents when needed, everything from bomb building to booby traps. She’s fought tooth and black-polished nail to make her way in the world and prove she’s more than a set of tits. From her thick, black eyeliner to her Doc Martens with leather mini-skirts, she stands out, and likes it that way.
Noah “Hound” Kendrick is the best tracker on his SEAL team. Haunted by the fact that he got his mother killed, he put his body, mind, and soul into the SEALs in retribution, trying to make the world a better place. They are his duty and family now, nothing gets in the way. Especially love, as he refuses to open up his heart and lose someone at his expense ever again.
Jayla’s latest mission is to retrieve a list of buyers from an arms dealer. She’s teamed with the SEALs who must take out a bunker hidden offshore near the dealer’s private island. But a squall line from an impending hurricane throws off their plans as Jayla and Noah get separated from the team, washing up on a deserted air force base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Now the Fox and the Hound must survive the elements and each other, as they ride out the physical and emotional storm heading their way.
This book is a crossover novella with a brand new series I’m starting called:
So mark your calendars! November 22nd will be here before you know it!
Jayla gripped her beer so hard her knuckles turned white. She fully intended on flirting for some fun at the party, but she didn’t expect anything to come of it. While SEALs were pretty to look at, they had a notorious rep for quick romps and even quicker exits. She refused to be a notch on a bedpost.
But her plans nosedived the minute she laid eyes on that Hound guy. Her head screamed at her to run far, far away. Her vadge yelled louder, forcing her to picture him with a lot less clothing involved. Damn his taunting forearm porn. Sinewy muscles flexed every time he took a drink of his beer. She ached to lick the plump lips displayed on his stark jawline, with a chin that stuck out just a hair too far, yet it seemed a perfect fit on his asymmetrical face. Add in his big, broody forehead and she was done for.
His deep brown eyes locked onto her own, holding her in a staring match. The intensity in them freaked her out a little. A sure fire sign that when this guy wanted something, he’d let nothing get in his way. She broke their gaze and focused her attention on his short, dark brown hair, finding a pair of fancy-ass sunglasses sitting on top like some hot-shot movie star.
Find something annoying about him, Jayla, it’ll be easier to diffuse the situation and walk away. And make it quick before you do something really stupid, like give him a lap dance on the cooler.
She glanced at some movement behind him only to find another SEAL headed her way, wearing a shit-eating grin with fuck-me eyes. Definite womanizing material. A pretty boy, with the bed count to match probably. Shit.
She focused back on Noah as she summed up her options. Plan A—exit the party early. Or Plan B…which was still a work in progress. Since Melinda drove them both to the party, she was stuck. Plan B it would have to be. Regret already toiled in her gut at the thought.
“Kiss me,” she whispered, not believing the words actually made it out of her head.
Noah blinked. “Say what?”
“Are you sure you’re not deaf?” She sucked in a deep breath and launched herself at his lips.
He stumbled backward before wrapping one arm around her waist, keeping their balance. Jayla dropped her bottle behind him and slid her hands along his neck, taut with muscle and sun-kissed warmth. A twinge of excitement hit her belly as their lips met. For a shocked moment his mouth froze, before his lips slanted and welcomed her.
His cologne hit her nose, sending another fissure of adrenaline through her. He curled his fingers into her back. “What are you doing?” he mouthed against the kiss.
“Just go with it, okay?” she whispered back, still pressed to his mouth.
“Fine.” His lips curled into a smile and his other arm snaked around her, dipping her backwards as he deepened the kiss, sliding his tongue past her lips.
Jayla’s heart plunged to her stomach, an impressive feat considering she now hung upside down in Noah’s arms. His tongue swept away all thoughts as he explored her mouth with the fervor of a hormonal teenager, but far better technique. Her hands that once held the warmth of his neck now clung to his thick biceps for dear life, curling her nails into his skin. That was going to leave a mark.
“What are you doing?” she groaned into the kiss.
His lips vibrated against hers as he chuckled. “Going with it.”

Tina is an Amazon and international bestselling novelist in erotic, paranormal, contemporary and historical romance for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher’s Weekly,Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised her work. Three of her erotic novels (Freeing the Beast, Come and Get Your Love, and Wicked Takeover) were Readers’ Choice Award winners. Another three (Adored, Lush Velvet Nights, and Deep, Dark, Delicious) were named finalists in the EPIC competition. Sensual Stranger, her erotic contemporary romance, was chosen Book of the Year at the French review site Blue Moon reviews. The Golden Nib Award at Miz Love Loves Books was created specifically for her erotic romance Lush Velvet Nights. Two of her titles (The Yearning and Deep, Dark, Delicious) received an Award of Merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competition. Take Me Away and Adored both won second place in the NEC RWA contest (different years). Tina is featured in the Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Teresa Noelle Roberts started writing stories in kindergarten and she hasn’t stopped yet. A prolific author of short erotica, she’s also a published poet and fantasy writer—but BDSM-spiced contemporaries, hot paranormals, and sexy science fiction romances have become her favorite things to write.
She shares her Massachusetts home with her husband, a Leo in law enforcement, and three cats. She and her husband would visit New Orleans all the time if she could get the dang teleporter to work.
I write romance: m/f, m/m, and v/h, where the h is for human and the v is for vampire…or sometimes demon. I write funny. I don’t write angst. When I’m not writing I take care of tiny premature babies or teenagers, depending on whether I’m at home or at work. My husband is a soul of patience, my dog is the cutest thing evah(!), and we’re up to three ferrets.
So I think this is the part where I’m supposed to say something super cool, win you over, and make you my life-long superfan…OR wait, is that how I am about my anime collection?
Basically, I’m an author, blogger, geek, and villain lover (Joker IS MINE!). There shouldn’t be any surprise then that I tend to love my heroes a bit broken, all messed up, and in need of someone who understands them just the way they are.
Hell, my heroines are right there with them. You see, love is nice, it’s sweet. It can be all rainbows and glowing stars. And then it can be dark, twisted, hurtful, and feel so damn good you have to scream about it. So I write like that. From one side of the spectrum to the other, because that’s real. That’s life. And that’s what we crave–delving into a fantasy world or not.
Kate Richards divides her time between Los Angeles and the High Sierras. She would gladly spend all her days in the mountains, but she’d miss the beach…and her very supportive husband’s commute would be three hundred miles. Wherever she is, she loves to explore all different kinds of relationships in her stories. She doesn’t believe one-size-fits-all, and whether her characters live BDSM, ménage, GLBT, spanking, or any other kind of lifestyle, it’s the love, the joy in one another, that counts.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
HUNTER is the first book in the new Caine Brothers series of erotic romance novellas by Margaret Madigan. Look for it to release October 19, 2015.
When Hunter takes over the CEO position at his father’s multi-billion dollar real estate development company, he also inherits his father’s sexy blonde personal assistant, Allison.
Allison doesn’t appreciate being passed around like property. When she meets Hunter, though, sparks fly. He’s gorgeous, but she’s ready to resign, until he proves he’s not the misogynistic boss his father was.
Hunter’s considering the purchase of a resort in Costa Rica. It’s currently a couples-only resort, so he asks Allison to go undercover with him, posing as newlyweds. Allison’s skeptical, but it’s a free trip to Costa Rica, and Hunter’s easy on the eyes, so why not?
Those sparks turn into raging hot flames as Hunter and Allison explore the resort–and each other–and discover that what happens in Costa Rica may or may not actually stay in Costa Rica.
Hunter went right back into the bathroom to do whatever he intended to do to get that roaring erection under control. Allison pondered following him and helping him out, one way or another.
Two things stopped her; first, her legs were so weak from that flipping amazing orgasm that she didn’t think she could walk across the room, and secondly, the anticipation of owing him heated her all over again.
While he’d showered the first time, she’d moved all their luggage to the closet. Now, she went to find a dry pair of panties.
She changed them and sat on the bed, waiting for Hunter and remembering his fingers on her and in her. The ghost of his touch still lingered on her skin and in the receding pulse of her orgasm.
If that was just a sample of what they’d do to each other, she didn’t need to sleep on it. To hell with caution, she was ready for more.
But apparently he’d decided they’d stick to the agreement.
It didn’t take long for him to finish in the bathroom, and when he left the bathroom this time, he looked like he could barely contain his triumph. Like by making her come like that he’d proven some primal point. Like he’d achieved a coup, vanquished a rival, swept in and made a hostile takeover. He puffed his chest, threw his shoulders back, and pretty much strutted into the room.
“Kinda proud of yourself there, chief?” she asked.
“Maybe a little. Where’s my suitcase?”
She pointed at the closet. He went in and rummaged, coming out with charcoal slacks and a blue shirt. He laid everything out on the bed, then paused.
“There are four restaurants here. Any idea what you’re hungry for?” she asked.
“Seriously, you have to ask?”
She looked at him, saw the unfiltered lust in his eyes, and remembered he still hadn’t been properly taken care of. A little bit of waiting wouldn’t hurt Mr. I-get-everything-I-want-when-I-want-it CEO. Might build some character.
“Patience is a virtue, you know.”
“I don’t like to wait.”
“Waiting makes everything better.”
He rolled his eyes, and she smiled. This weekend could be a lot of fun.
“Are you going to sit there while I dress?” he asked.
“Do you want me to?”
“Yes. But if you do, we won’t be waiting for tomorrow. If I get naked with you now, you’d better be ready to skip dinner and forget about sleep for most of the night.”
“Well, then. I’ll step out and let you dress. Because I’m starving.”
She slid off the bed, laughing at his fake insult. As she passed him on the way to the door, she grabbed the edge of his towel and yanked it off.
He growled and reached for her, but she squealed and ran for the living room. She flopped onto the couch, giggling like a little girl, but when she looked back to the bedroom Hunter stood in the doorway, naked as the day he was born, the single most glorious man she’d ever had the privilege to witness in the nude.
He’d reached up and hooked his fingers over the top of the door jamb, and lounged there casually displaying himself for her perusal. She had no doubt he meant for her to understand what she was missing. Her skin tingled, and her mouth watered in appreciation. She’d need to change her panties again.
Tall, tan, lean, and hung, Hunter made the perfect argument without even saying a word.
“Wow.” How she managed even one coherent word, she had no idea.
He grinned. “Damn right, wow.”
He shrugged and turned back to the bedroom, giving her a great view of his ass.
Waiting for tomorrow would be a serious challenge, but she didn’t like to lose any more than he did, so she’d wait. Until then, she’d have as much fun teasing him as possible.
